Julianna Yamnitz | a perfect miracle

When Jakki & Sean Yamnitz welcomed their beautiful baby girl into the world, it was much earlier than they had planned.  On April 18th, 2014, Julianna Elizabeth Yamnitz was born sixteen weeks premature.  Julianna underwent numerous surgeries and procedures, which included a heart artery ligation and two of what could be many eye procedures.  Thankfully Julianna was able to come home, however due to her being born so premature, she is on continued oxygen, being fed through a feeding tube and is attached to monitors.  I had the pleasure of capturing some of their sweet moments in their home.

This saying hangs in her room and it really stuck with me!

"Though she be but little, she is fierce."

What amazed me even more was the precise care that was put into decorating this gorgeous little girl’s nursery.  Jakki's co-workers took the time to come over and get it all set up, while Julianna was growing strong in the NICU preparing to come home. It is just perfect!

Due to Julianna's extended stay in the NICU and her needing special medical care at home, Jakki is unable to go back to work.    To read more about Julianna's story or to support their family, click the link below.
